Website review: Tuenti

My favourite website is a Spanish networking site called Tuenti. I've used it for one year approximately and I especially use it to chat with friends. I also use it to upload photos, and see videos etc.

Tuenti has a lot of advantages as disadvantages. One advantage is that I can keep in touch with friends that live far. Moreover, I can chat with a lot of people at the same time. I can also arrange to meet with friends in the chat, so that I don't have to call them. In addition, I don't have to pay especially for using it, but, I have to pay for the internet. The thing that I like from Tuenti is that I can have a more private profile, and I can do a lot of things at the same time (like watch videos, listen to music, chat with friends, see photos, upload photos etc.)

However, it has a lot of disadvantages too. It is really easy to become addicted to it, because it's an easy thing that everyone has, and I recognize that I waste a lot of time there, but in my case, I spend too much time because I log in to chat with friends( to arrange to meet etc.). Another disadvantage is that you can have a "private" profile, but nothing that is in internet, is a hundred percent private.

In conclusion, I think that I must spend less time there, because I waste time, and because the eyes get tired staying to much time in front of the computer. It is also good to keep in touch with friends, but we have to be careful of what we publish there.

My trip

Hello class:
I’m here in the USA. I’m having the best time of my life and I’m like in a dream, I couldn’t imagine that my parents will organise that trip. Luckily, they have done it.

The first day, we arrived after a long travel by plane, and we stayed in the hotel and relaxed.
We have been to Los Angeles, to the casinos and to Hollywood. I have seen George Clooney and obviously, I have taken a photo with him. He is nice. I have also done a lot of shopping! Fortunately, the clothes and shoes aren’t expensive so, I haven’t spent too much money. I have also been to the famous beaches of California, and I have seen many more celebrities.

Now, I’m writing to you from the other side of the USA, from New York! I have been to the Statue of Liberty, to the Empire State, and to Central Park (is huge!). Moreover, I have been shopping in Fifth Avenue. Actually, I have felt exhausted, because the avenue is really long, but I have bought a lot of presents and beautiful clothes.

The advertisement I chose

I chose this advertisement because in my opinion, it is really funny. It is a bit fantastic, because those young children could not do what they do in the advertisement, in the real life. It is an advertisement of a brand of water, called Evian. I find it really interesting and funny, because it shows how important is the water for us, in a different, and an enjoying way. It isn't real, because the water doesn't make us do those things, but it is a way to exaggerate how important is it. 

Witness of a robbery

It was about eleven o'clock in the evening, seven years ago, more or less. I was walking on the street in San Sebastian, near the train station, and near the police station. There weren’t too many people, and it was the "Aste Nagusia". I was with my mother and my sister. 

Suddenly, a man pass next to me, running, and we didn't think it was important. However, then, we listened a voice. It was a woman, shouting, "Pickpocket, pickpocket!" . The woman was running after the pickpocket. It all happened in 2 minutes or less. 

The man was wearing black clothes (it is as I remember him) and he was about 1.80 metres, and he had short, black hair. He ran away so I can't remember him very well. I think he was about 20-25 years old. I don't know if they chased him but I think that he escaped because he ran quickly and he pass before than the woman.

Martin Rivas

Martiño or Martin Rivas is an Spanish actor. He's famous for the TV series "El Internado". He's also famous for films like "Los Girasoles Ciegos" by Jose Luis Cuerda, and because he is the son of the famous writer, Manuel Rivas. He was nominated to an award called Goya for the best actor. He was born in Vimianzo(Galicia) in 1985, and he's still an audiovisual communication student in the University of Santiago de Compostela. He started acting on the TV, just when he was 12 years, in the series "Mareas Vivas".

Now, Martin works with famous directors like Jose Luis Cuerda and actors like Maribel Verdu, Irene Escolar and Javier Camara. He was also the third of the most sexys actors in 2007.

At the moment he is working in the series El Internado but it is going to finish soon so, I think he is going to act in films.
